One of the things I love about my job is that it’s different every day, and each new transaction brings a new set of clients, who then become good friends. What a great way to start the week! Today we closed escrow on this very special home located in one of the city’s most vibrant and sought-after locations, the Dogpatch neighborhood. Gene & Heather, my buyer clients, are currently living in a loft just around the corner from this house. When we first met, they told me that their desire was to transition into a single-family home, but they wanted to stay in the same neighborhood. I knew this was going to be a major challenge, because single family homes in the Dogpatch are rare…REALLY rare….according to the MLS, there have only been five houses in five years that have changed hands in this nine-block radius.
